You Are Already Here
There is something quietly powerful about the fact that you are reading this.
You did not stumble here by accident. Something in you — a nudge, a curiosity, a gentle pull toward something — brought you to this page. And that is enough. Showing up is always the first step, and you are already here.
So welcome. Truly.
A Little About Me
I am Sally — a mother, a wife, a digital marketing veteran of many years, and what I can only describe as a joyful bundle of vibration when I am connected to what I love.
Sound healing. Good food. Honest conversation. The kind of stillness that feels alive. These are the things that light me up — and this blog is where I get to share them with all of you.
Life, of course, has a way of testing all of that. It throws things at us — unexpected things, heavy things, things we never planned for. And in those moments, maintaining any sense of steadiness can feel like an enormous ask. I know this not just as a practitioner, but as a human being who has navigated her own share of difficult seasons.
But here is what I keep coming back to — we can always choose our being. Not our circumstances, not what arrives uninvited at our door, but how we meet it. In the gap between what happens and how we respond, there is a space. A quiet, powerful space. And in that space, everything is possible.
This blog is about finding that space — and returning to it, again and again, together.
What Is a Grateful Journal?
This is the first post in what I am calling my Grateful Journal — a growing collection of reflections, moments and reminders of what is worth pausing for.
Gratitude, to me, is not about labelling things as good or bad, right or wrong, better or worse. It is the practice of noticing — really noticing — what is present, what is beautiful, and what is quietly sustaining us, even on the days when the bigger picture feels unclear.
I believe that what we appreciate, appreciates. As Sadhguru says — "Gratitude is not an attitude. Gratitude is something that flows out of you when you are overwhelmed by the recognition of what you have received." This journal is my way of practising that, out loud and in community, so that we can all be reminded of the abundance that is already here.
My hope is that this inspires you to start your own grateful journal too — in whatever form feels natural to you. There is no right or wrong way to do it. And if something here moves you, surprises you or simply makes you smile, I would love to hear about it. Leave me a comment and let's share the journey. This space grows richer every time one of us adds something to it.
Let's Grow Together
I am not here as an authority. I am here as a fellow traveller — someone who has learned a great deal, who is still learning, and who finds the journey infinitely richer when it is shared.
So please — read, reflect, and share your thoughts. Tell me what resonates. Tell me what does not. There are no wrong answers here, and every perspective is welcome.
Here is to the gap between thoughts, the moments of unexpected stillness, and everything we are yet to discover — together.
Welcome home.
